Prices are $9.50* and lower per child, required adults are free.

Available during normal operating hours all year-long.
- All reservations are encouraged to be booked at least four (4) weeks in advance.
- A $75.00 nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of booking.
- Rescheduling must occur at least one full calendar week prior to scheduled visit date to apply the deposit.
- Group is held responsible for paying for full attendance count given at the time of reservation.
- The balance is due upon arrival on visit date.

School Group Visits are made possible through the generous support of the State of Maryland and P&G Fund of Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
Port Discovery offers interactive exhibits and educational enrichment programs.
Group discounts are available year round. Individual discounts are offered two to three times a year and usually run in the fall, winter, and spring.
All registrants must preregister. Groups pay a deposit of $75.00 to register. Individuals are expected to pay in full.
September Freaky Friday w/ Science Lab
Open to ages 2 - 10. 1 pm - 4 pm
SPECIAL SCIENCE LABS ARE RUN BY SCIENTISTS*
September 5th- Towson SciTech- Design a Scribble Bot. Design and build your own Scribble Bot with special guests from Towson SciTech! Each participant will create and take home a small robot that moves and draws.
September 12th- Scientist Sarah- Gumdrop Engineering. Learn how forces, shapes, and materials affect a building’s strength. Each child will be challenged with building a structure from gumdrops and toothpicks that can carry the weight of a book!
September 19th - Scientist Sarah- The Perfect Slime. Participants will act as chemical engineers, mixing chemicals to make the perfect slime. Children will work in groups to test a variety of slime recipes to determine the one with the best bounce.
September 26th- National Federation of the Blind, Maryland- Science without Sight. Join special guests from the National Federation of the Blind to experience all of your senses! Learn how people without sight can use touch, smell, and sound to perform science.

Museum on the Road
Museum on the Road brings Port Discovery right to your classroom! Each of the following programs consist of five, one-hour sessions, filled with hands-on activities to engage children in active learning. From colorful art and music programs, to innovative STEM programs, you are sure to find something to meet your curriculum needs. Our programs cover a range of grades from Pre-K through 5th grade. After School Enrichment - ArtVentures Passport to the World
ArtVentures is a 10-week after school enrichment program where students learn core values such as courage, integrity, commitment, determination, teamwork and citizenship are highlighted. An interactive approach to literacy and cultural awareness, ArtVentures uses traditional storytelling, writing, music, dance, arts and crafts, and games to foster creative expression and to strengthen artistic, reading, writing, communication and problem-solving skills. The ArtVentures curriculum focuses on a specific geographic region each year.
