Graphene has received a large amount of media attention for its record breaking properties. It is the strongest material ever measured: it would take an elephant standing with all it's weight on a pin to break a sheet of graphene the thickness of cellophane. It is also the most thermally conductive material and is 100 times more electrically conductive than silicon. Vorbeck manufactures this material at ton scale while developing commercial products that solve problems in the manufacturing, industrial, electronic and consumer markets. In recent years, there has been significant interest and activity its development and Vorbeck is leading the way in it's incorporation into real life applications.
