The Atrium at Port Discovery

If you are celebrating a special occasion and are looking to “WOW!” your guests, your event is guaranteed to be a fun and memorable experience at The Atrium at Port Discovery!

All you need is your guest list and your imagination and our talented staff will help you transform The Atrium into the idyllic setting for your next event!

The Atrium at Port Discovery offers 10,000 square feet of open floor space under a 40-foot glass ceiling that can be set up for corporate events, cocktail receptions, banquets, fundraisers, reunions, weddings, Bar or Bat Mitzvahs, proms and after-proms, and trade shows. The Atrium can accommodate up to 400 guests for a seated, served event; 350 guests seated with a dance floor and food stations; and over 500 for a cocktail reception. You can even set up your event the day before at no additional charge!*

If you want to enhance your party or just looking for an extra unique experience, you can rent The Museum separately or in addition to The Atrium. The Museum space is 80,000 square feet with 3 floors of colorful, interactive exhibits that can be open for guests to explore during your event.  Each floor can be set up with stations or additional seating to meet your needs. The Museum can accommodate up to 1,200 guests.

"Our cocktail hour was throughout the museum and reception was in the atrium attached to the museum. The space was perfect for our wedding. We knew we wanted it in downtown Baltimore and we knew we were going to have over 250 guests and the museum was able to accommodate us and provide a fun atmosphere for our guests. Our contact was Kelly Hawkins and she did a great job making sure everything ran smoothly. She was super flexible and very responsive. She gave us her cell phone number closer to the wedding date so we could text her anytime we needed something. I certainly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a fun atmosphere for a wedding or other event. The atrium is a large space and more plain than other venues we looked at, but with some colorful linens we were able pull everything together. I think the atrium could work for various themes and events. Also, the museum was very reasonably priced compared to other museums and venues we looked into downtown."
