Corporate supporters show a commitment to community.
By supporting Port Discovery Children's Museum, your organization helps provide the community with a resource for early-childhood education and cultural enrichment. There are several ways your organization can support the Museum:

Community Investment Tax Credits
Maryland’s Community Investment Tax Credit (CITC) has to be one of the best buys in philanthropy. When you make a contribution ($500 minimum) to Port Discovery Children’s Museum eligible CITC project, you receive a Maryland tax credit equal to 50% of your donation. For every dollar you give, the net cost to you can be as little as 27 cents. At Port Discovery, our CITC project supports the installation of new carpeting and safety flooring.

Click here to learn more about the community investment tax credit program, or contact Dawn Sacks at 410.864.2656 or dsacks@portdiscovery.org.

Annual Fund
Annual, unrestricted gifts from corporations and foundations help sustain the Museum’s daily operations and emerging programs and partnerships. With this support, the Museum maintains its five permanent galleries that promote a core curriculum advocated by state and national education standards.
In appreciation of your generous donation, the Museum offers a range of recognition opportunities to its one-time and ongoing corporate and foundation supporters at every level.

Sponsorship
Port Discovery Children's Museum provides our Exhibit and Program underwriters with a unique opportunity for philanthropy coupled with the high visibility provided by our marketing plan to promote supported projects.

Corporate/Foundation Membership
The Museum’s Organizational Membership Program is designed to provide exceptional access to the Museum’s collections and exhibits, including free or discounted Museum rentals, VIP and Admit One passes, and invitations to exhibit openings. Annual revenue from the Corporate Membership provides critical support for the Museum’s operations, including numerous educational programs, community access, and plays a meaningful role in sustaining Port Discovery as a vibrant learning center for children. Corporate members utilize benefits to reward employees, entertain clients, and connect with community partners. We invite you to become involved with Port Discovery Children’s Museum and to discover for yourself the many advantages that organizational membership brings!
