All aboard in August at Port Discovery! This month we are Going Places, with activities and programs themed around travel, vehicles, and transportation. Set Sail for School at the end of August, learn how the North Star is important for navigation, create a UFO out of recycled materials and more! $10 Pop Up Play Day
Visit Port Discovery on August 18th for our special Pop Up Play Day! Tickets are only $10 per person.
Set Sail for School
Join us on August 27th to make some of your own school supplies, enter to win a Bedtime in a Box, visit three floors of exhibits to engage in back to school activities and grab lots of giveaways. COVID-19 vaccinations will be available for children age 3 and older on a walk-in basis!
Very Eric Carle: A Very Hungry, Quiet, Lonely, Clumsy, Busy Exhibit
Dive into the pages of some of your favorite childhood books in the Very Eric Carle exhibit, which immerses visitors in activities inspired by five of Eric Carle’s classic books: The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Very Quiet Cricket, The Very Lonely Firefly, The Very Clumsy Click Beetle and The Very Busy Spider.
