DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of excitement\, exploration\, and learning\, all by the way of play! Embark on a self-guided journey throughout the three floors of fun Port Discovery has to offer and tap into special workshops offered just for our homeschoolers on these special days. \nScience in Our World: States of Matters\nWorkshop sessions at 10:30am and 1:30pm\nDive into the fascinating world of science as we explore the three states of matter—solids\, liquids\, and gases! Through hands-on experiments\, you’ll experience how molecules behave in each state while using your whole body to bring these concepts to life. Watch as a solid and liquid transform into a gas\, and see if you can create a solid by mixing two liquids together. It’s a fun and interactive event that makes science both engaging and unforgettable! \n*Homeschool Days and workshops are not drop-off programs. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the museum and within special workshops.  \n\n*Tickets are $15 per person and include all day admission to explore the museum as well as one workshop.\nMembers’ tickets are $7.50 per person\, which includes access to one homeschool day workshop at a discounted price as part of Port Discovery’s exclusive membership benefits. \n\nAdditional discounts cannot be applied to our Homeschool special program tickets for either adults or children. Additional tickets may not be purchased with memberships or other discounts.
