DESCRIPTION:Visit Port Discovery for an exciting Puppet Powered Weekend on March 21st & 22nd\, where creativity and fun take center stage! Enjoy live puppet shows\, hands-on activities\, and special performances\, bringing unique charm and storytelling magic to the event. It’s a weekend full of laughter\, learning\, and unforgettable puppet adventures for all ages!  \nProgramming on Saturday\, March 21st Includes… \n\n\n\nAll Day: Recycled Material Puppets (Art Cove) : Come explore a buffet of recycled materials and create your very own puppet or marionette. Plus\, try out the Art Cove’s newest cool tool – the Chomp Saw kid-safe cardboard saw! \nAll Day: Firefly Hide & Seek (SKIES) : Puppets are great tools for playing games. Stop inside our Skies exhibit for a game of hide and seek with our light-up firefly finger puppets. \nAll Day: Alien Puppet Play (Galactic Builders) : Choose from one of our puppets in our Galactic Builders exhibit and go on an adventure as you explore this alien world. \n11 AM: Winnie-the-Pooh Storytime (Playhouse) : Watch and help tell stories from one of A.A. Milne’s classic books. Using shadow puppets and simple costumes\, hear the fun adventures of Pooh Bear\, Christopher Robin\, and their friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. \n2 PM: Puppet Open Mic (Playhouse) : Choose a puppet and create stories about their adventures. Share those stories as they step up to the mic for all to hear. \n3 PM: Puppet FUNdamentals (Playhouse) : Stop inside our Playhouse exhibit for hands-on activities and demonstrations aboutbringing puppets to life. Choose a puppet and create an imaginative story\, starring you and your puppet! \n\nProgramming on Sunday\, March 22nd Includes… \n\n\n\nAll Day: Recycled Material Puppets (Art Cove) : Come explore a buffet of recycled materials and create your very own puppet or marionette.
