As part of this special program\, our education experts will be offering a variety of activities that promote social and hands-on learning. \nProgramming this Sunday\, September 29th Includes…\nCardboard Forge (Art Cove Workshop Space) : Sign up at the Cardboard Forge to construct your very own cardboard sword and then use the variety of materials in the Art Cove to decorate it. Sessions are limited to 12 children per time slot. \n\nWorkshop Sessions : 10:30 AM\, 11 AM\, 11:30 AM\, 12 PM\, 12:30 PM\, 1 PM\, 1:30 PM\, 2 PM\, 2:30 PM\, 3 PM\, 3:30 PM\, & 4 PM\n\nHippity Hoppity Jousting (Kick It Up\, 1st Floor\, 11 AM) : Grab a lance and hop your way over to this challenge of skill. Young knights in training can participate in Maryland’s state sport. See if you can hit the target as you bounce your way across the lists.  \nMeet the Royal Court of Port Discovery (Around the Museum\, 11 AM ) : Meet the Royal Court of Port Discovery as they wander around the museum. Keep an eye out for royalty\, a knight\, and a wizard! \nThe Great Quest (Location TBD\, 2 PM ) : Do you have what it takes to become a medieval hero? Choose your path and create your character to begin the journey. Meet friends along the way as you take on tasks to complete the challenge. *This will include four activity stations and various other self guided tasks that you can choose from to earn enough points to complete the quest! \n\nChoose Your Path (The Playhouse\, 1st Floor) : Which path will you choose on this journey? Will it be royalty\, wizard or knight? Once you choose\, create the character that you will be as you continue on the journey.\nJousting! (Kick It Up\, 1st Floor) : Grab a lance and a partner for this challenge to participate in Maryland’s state sport. See if you can hit the targets as you make your through the course.\nThe Wizard Library (Oasis\, 2nd Floor) : Enter our Oasis exhibit filled with literacy focused toys and medieval themed books. Different activities will also be led by the wizard Merlin.\nCastles and Catapults (Blocktopia\, 3rd Floor) : Will you be the attacker or the defender of the castle? To take the offensive\, load your catapult and send rocks flying towards the castle. As part of this special program\, our education experts will be offering a variety of activities that promote social and hands-on learning. \nProgramming this Saturday\, September 28th Includes…\nCardboard Forge (Art Cove Workshop Space) : Sign up at the Cardboard Forge to construct your very own cardboard sword and then use the variety of materials in the Art Cove to decorate it. Sessions are limited to 12 children per time slot. \n\nWorkshop Sessions : 10:30 AM\, 11 AM\, 11:30 AM\, 12 PM\, 12:30 PM\, 1 PM\, 1:30 PM\, 2 PM\, 2:30 PM\, 3 PM\, 3:30 PM\, & 4 PM\n\nHippity Hoppity Jousting (Kick It Up\, 1st Floor\, 11 AM) : Grab a lance and hop your way over to this challenge of skill. Young knights in training can participate in Maryland’s state sport. See if you can hit the target as you bounce your way across the lists.  \nMeet the Royal Court of Port Discovery (Around the Museum\, 11 AM ) : Meet the Royal Court of Port Discovery as they wander around the museum. Keep an eye out for royalty\, a knight\, and a wizard! \nThe Great Quest (Location TBD\, 2 PM ) : Do you have what it takes to become a medieval hero? Choose your path and create your character to begin the journey. Meet friends along the way as you take on tasks to complete the challenge. *This will include four activity stations and various other self guided tasks that you can choose from to earn enough points to complete the quest! \n\nChoose Your Path (The Playhouse\, 1st Floor) : Which path will you choose on this journey? Will it be royalty\, wizard or knight? Once you choose\, create the character that you will be as you continue on the journey.\nJousting! (Kick It Up\, 1st Floor) : Grab a lance and a partner for this challenge to participate in Maryland’s state sport. See if you can hit the targets as you make your through the course.\nThe Wizard Library (Oasis\, 2nd Floor) : Enter our Oasis exhibit filled with literacy focused toys and medieval themed books. Different activities will also be led by the wizard Merlin.\nCastles and Catapults (Blocktopia\, 3rd Floor) : Will you be the attacker or the defender of the castle? To take the offensive\, load your catapult and send rocks flying towards the castle. If you wish to defend the castle\, take part in building your very own castle out of large blue blocks.\n\nDue to scheduling\, programs are subject to change. Thank you for your understanding.
