DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of excitement\, exploration\, and learning\, all by the way of play! Embark on a self-guided journey throughout the three floors of fun Port Discovery has to offer and tap into special workshops offered just for our homeschoolers on these special days. \nBack to School Science\nWorkshop sessions at 10:30am and 1:30pm\nTurn everyday objects into extraordinary school supplies! Use recycled materials and STEM know-hows to create colorful\, functional tools for learning. From exploring the science of materials to experimenting with form and function\, you will discover how to bring new life to the items we use every day. \n*Homeschool Days and workshops are not drop-off programs. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the museum and within special workshops.  \n\n*Tickets are $15 per person and include all day admission to explore the museum as well as one workshop.\nMembers’ tickets are $7.50 per person\, which includes access to one homeschool day workshop at a discounted price as part of Port Discovery’s exclusive membership benefits. \n\nAdditional discounts cannot be applied to our Homeschool special program tickets for either adults or children. Additional tickets may not be purchased with memberships or other discounts. \n
