The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore

National Aquarium

The National Aquarium is located in the heart of the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland. Situated on two city piers with the Chesapeake Bay on either side, the Aquarium features three pavilions and a living collection that includes more than 20,000 animals from more than 700 species of fish, birds, amphibians, reptiles and mammals in award-winning habitats.

Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture

The museum brings Maryland African American history and culture to life through its permanent galleries and educational programs. It also shares the broader African American experience through special exhibitions, lectures and a variety of events. The museum is named for Reginald F. Lewis (1942-1993), a native Baltimore entrepreneur and philanthropist who served as chair and chief executive officer of TLC Beatrice International, the largest U.S. company owned by an African American during his lifetime. The museum also houses a café, meeting spaces, a 200-seat theater and a museum shop.

The USS Constellation Museum

Berthed in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor for the past 60 years, the 160-year old CONSTELLATION is a U.S. Navy “sloop-of-war” and under custody of the City of Baltimore as a museum ship. The non-profit organization, Historic Ships in Baltimore, a program of the Living Classrooms Foundation, serves as the vessel’s caretaker.  CONSTELLATION’s last dry-dock was in 2011.

Jewish Museum of Maryland
