Port Discovery Children’s Museum is located in Baltimore, Maryland- right by the inner harbor! With easily accessible parking and three floors of interactive exhibits, it’s a perfect spot for you and your kiddos! Address: 35 Market Place | Baltimore’s Inner Harbor
This museum is only open select times throughout the year. On the Rose Hill Manor property, there is a manor house, icehouse, log cabin, blacksmith shop, carriage collection and barns. The National Children’s Museum is located in DC. The museum is geared towards children ages birth-12 and has 8 permanent exhibits. Address: 1300 Pennsylvania Ave NW Washington, DC 20004
The Children’s Museum of Richmond has two locations. One is in downtown Richmond, and one is in Chesterfield. Both locations have plenty of exhibits and lots of fun things to do! Addresses: 2626 West Broad St. Richmond, VA 23220 and 6629 Lake Harbour Dr.

The Children’s Museum of Virginia, Portsmouth is located in Portsmouth, Virginia. It has two floors of interactive exhibits. There are also camps and various workshops offered. Address: 221 High Street, Portsmouth, Virginia 23704
The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, located in Pittsburgh, PA, has nine permanent exhibits for you and your little ones to explore. They also offer summer camps. Bonus—if you’re hungry from exploring and playing, they have a café right in the museum. Address: 10 Children’s Way

If you’re thinking about visiting a children’s museum, consider getting a membership! Many of the museums on this list are members of the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM). Members to ACM museums get nice benefits.
