Did you know Port Discovery offers educational and entertaining programs that visitors and members can drop-in to experience each day we are open? We offer a variety of drop-in programs and activities for infants, pre-schoolers and more. Jingle Jangle Music Time: Explore music and movment through play, laughter and lots of fun!
Birth to age 3 with a parent or caregiver. Wednesdays at 11:30 am and 12:15 pm. Fridays at 11:30 am, 12:15 pm Sundays at 2:30 pm, 3:15 pm, and 4:00 pm

Circle Time: Explore a variety of books, songs and fun through an interactive Circle Time.
Birth through age 5. Weekdays at 11:30 am. Weekend times vary; check event calendar.

Mother Goose on the Loose: Mother Goose is on the Loose at Port Discovery! Reciting nursery rhymes with puppets, flannel board characters, book illustrations, songs, and musical instruments in this joyful setting helps children develop early literacy skills through play.
Birth to age 3 with a parent or caregiver. Wednesdays at 10:30 am Fridays at 10:30 am, Sundays at 1:30 pm

Circus Science: Try your hand at fun science skills during Circus Science!

Percussion Garden: Children are encouraged to play on (or with!) a wide variety of percussion instruments in this hands-on percussion garden. Ages 3 - 10. Times and days vary; check event calendar.

Kamashibai Story Time: Enjoy the art of Jamanese Paper Theater that combines storytelling with illustration!

Jousting: Ride Hippity Hop horses and use Port Discovery’s special lances to join in a joust. Learn about this very old game that is also one of Maryland’s State Sports while strengthening balance skills and learning that being active is a lot of fun.
Ages 3 and older. Wednesdays at 11 am

Art Studio: Make projects that help children learn while exploring their artistic abilities! Themes and projects change regularly.
