Port Discovery Children’s Museum Provides Access to Purposeful Play & Learning through Aquafina® $2 Family Fun Night Series
BALTIMORE, Md. – March 8, 2018 - Port Discovery Children’s Museum will help bring the children of Baltimore a deeply discounted opportunity to access purposeful play and learning at Aquafina $2 Family Fun Nights during the months of April, May and June 2018. Held on the third Friday of each month, and made possible through support from Aquafina, these events provide all children and families with affordable access to exploration, learning and play in the Museum’s hands-on exhibits, drop-in educational programs and learning opportunities provided by community partners all for just $2 per person.
Aquafina $2 Family Fun Nights will be offered on the following Fridays in 2018 from 4 to 8 PM: April 20, May 18 and June 15.
$2 Family Fun Nights have been enormously successful at Port Discovery Children’s Museum, attracting more than 87,385 families since their start in 2010. These widely popular evenings provide full access to Port Discovery’s 17 permanent learning environments and exhibits, visiting exhibits, and opportunities for family bonding through exploration, learning and play. Activities at the Aquafina $2 Family Fun Nights will include science and arts activities, experiments, and hands-on projects for children to complete and take home.
In 2017, Port Discovery saw increased interest and attendance in $2 Family Fun Nights, setting an all-time attendance record for the event, with 12,940 attendees over just 11 months.
Port Discovery Children’s Museum now proudly serves PepsiCo’s portfolio of beverages, including a selection of healthier beverages such as Aquafina, Pure Leaf Unsweetened Tea, Mtn Dew Kickstart and Gatorade G2, curated for the company’s Hello Goodness vending machines at the museum.
