Planning to visit Port Discovery Children’s Museum to explore Very Eric Carle: A Very Hungry, Quiet, Lonely, Clumsy, Busy Exhibit?
Through hands-on and immersive experiences, you will enter the colorful and distinctive landscapes imagined by Eric Carle.
To make the most of your journey through Very Eric Carle, consider these tips for families and educators:
Take time to talk and experience the exhibit as a family. Use the experience to make memories together, to explore and play together, and to learn about your little learner along the way.
Ask questions! Ask children what they see and observe, what they are feeling, why they think something works the way it does, and help them make connections to the world around them.
Share your experiences. What real world connections can you apply to what you are learning or doing? For instance – do you remember reading the Very Hungry Caterpillar as a child? Hearing symphonies of crickets when camping with friends or family? Share your experiences and memories with one another.
