Featured Performances & Activities Include:

Saturday, April 23 | 2:30pm - 3:30pm - Natural Adornments

Using materials found around Robinson Nature Center, children and families will examine new and exciting ways to turn nature into wearable art! While learning about the natural world around us, Robinson’s guests will learn how to turn everyday objects into functional works of art

Saturday, May 7 | 2:30pm - 3:30pm - Brown Bear, Polar Bear: What Do You Say?

Earth’s animals have been a source of inspiration for storytellers throughout human history. In this theatre arts program, guests will learn how to use movement, voice, and design to retell author Bill Martin Jr.’s books. Then collaborate in the creation of a new, inspired story through costumes, props, and audio effects.

Saturday, May 21 | 2:30pm - 3:30pm - Nature Prints and Processes

This visual arts program is an exciting examination of nature and the ways we can use it to express our creativity. A fun scavenger hunt around Robinson Nature Center’s grounds will provide participants with the tools for several printmaking projects. Witness the qualities that make natural materials the perfect tools for creating unique artwork.

Though there is no cost, please pre-register by the day prior to the program if you plan on attending so that Robinson Nature Center may send you information in advance. This program follows COVID safety guidelines including facial mask use, health screenings and temperature checks.

PLEASE NOTE: you must register separately for each program. Tickets are limited to 20 individuals per program. All adults and children must register to attend. Programs take place entirely outdoors, please dress for the weather.
