Exhibits, Experiences & Field Trips filled with Wonder & Learning
Port Discovery Group Visits feature hands-on educational experiences for toddlers, pre-kindergarten, and Kindergarten through 5th grade (ages 2-10) children. Learning and adventures at our museum are enhanced through our many planned interactive and fun student programs.
In addition to the planned activities, children can explore Port Discovery’s new four-story SkyClimber, multi-level Port Exhibit, and updated Museum amenities – plus adventure through favorites including Wonders of Water, Tiny’s Diner, Adventure Expeditions, The Oasis, Here We Grow, and more.
Group visits are available throughout the year for groups of 15 or more children and feature highly discounted ticket prices. Call 410.864.2727 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for information and to reserve your group visit today! Reservations are required.
Scheduling a Field Trip to Port Discovery
School Groups (Available September-May, Excluding Weekends and Holidays)
- Rates beginning at $10.00 per child. Required chaperones enter free. Additional discounts may be available for Maryland Students.
Summer Groups (Available June-August)
- Rates are $12.50 per person
*All groups must include a minimum of 15 children to qualify for group admission.
Port Discovery memberships and general admission discounts cannot be applied to group visits.
$100 nonrefundable deposit is due at time of booking. The balance is due one (1) week prior to visit date.
Purchase orders and personal checks are not acceptable forms of payment.
Things happen! To avoid forfeiture of any payments, you must contact Port Discovery Group Sales within one week of your original visit date to reschedule.
Deposits are nonrefundable for cancelled visits.
- Chaperones must be 18 years of age or older.
- We require one chaperone per eight children.
- Additional adults will be charged (Required school group chaperones are free).
Port Discovery schedules timed lunched for all group visits. While lunch storage is provided, we do not offer refrigeration or heating services. In addition, we are located within walking distance to a variety of child and family-friendly restaurants.
Port Discovery is committed to ensuring that visits to the Museum are accessible to all. We offer grant funding and accessibility programs to reduce or completely eliminate the cost of admission for group visits to qualifying participants as funds are available.
In addition, Port Discovery is ADA accessible and is committed to being an accessible, inclusive environment for people of all abilities.
