Birds of a Feather – Homeschool Days
Join us for a day of excitement, exploration, and learning, all by the way of play! Embark on a self-guided journey throughout the three floors of fun Port Discovery has to offer and tap into special workshops offered just for our homeschoolers on these special days.
Birds of a Feather
Workshop sessions at 10:30am and 1:30pm
Take flight into the world of birds! Explore the incredible ways birds live, travel, and take to the skies, with a special look at the species that call the Chesapeake Bay home. Through creative activities and hands-on exploration, learn how feathers, wings, and habitats help birds thrive in our region and around the world.
*Homeschool Days and workshops are not drop-off programs. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the museum and within special workshops.
- *Tickets are $15 per person and include all day admission to explore the museum as well as one workshop.
- Members’ tickets are $7.50 per person, which includes access to one homeschool day workshop at a discounted price as part of Port Discovery’s exclusive membership benefits.
Additional discounts cannot be applied to our Homeschool special program tickets for either adults or children. Additional tickets may not be purchased with memberships or other discounts.
