Let’s celebrate love, joy, and being your true self at Pride & Joy – a day where every family shines! On June 6, Port Discovery invites you to a fun-filled day packed with creativity, connection, and community. Enjoy hands-on activities, performances, and plenty of playful surprises, in a space where all are welcome. Let’s kick off June with pride, laughter, and love!

Programming this Saturday, June 6th includes…

Discovery Tales : Look, listen and sing! Gather ’round, friends. Join us as we sing songs and read special stories focused on connection and community that the whole family can enjoy.

Family Portraits : This immersive experience invites young guests and their families to work together and create a photo frame through creative use of texture and colors through our provided art supplies! Groups will be able to take a picture together for their frame after creating it.

Color Pop! : Red, yellow, and blue – mix the primary colors in a variety of hues in this hands-on creative activity where you can let your colors pop with bubbly rainbows! 

Dance Party :Enter the Playhouse and join a dance party with seasonal music provided by either our resident musician or in-house DJ. Featuring musical instruments and props to get kids and adults moving!

Scavenger Hunt : Join in on a connection-themed museum wide scavenger hunt in celebration of Pride & Joy while looking for clues and hints with your family in order to find all of our surprises!
