Build, Snap, and Share Your Imagination!

Calling all city builders! Brick City needs your big ideas! From February 9 through July 4, we’re inviting builders of all ages to imagine the kind of playful, welcoming city they’d love to see and bring it to life with LEGO bricks and Duplo blocks. Inspired by our Brick City exhibit, this challenge celebrates creativity, community, and the ways kids can help shape better cities.

Your child could design a bus stop that makes waiting fun, a bridge that brings neighborhoods together, or a park filled with color and adventure. However you build, your ideas help us explore what a more joyful Baltimore could look like.

You can take part right here at the museum or build from home. Just send us a photo of your creation for a chance to be featured in our exhibits, programs, marketing materials and potentially wining our challenge!

Let your imagination lead the way — Brick City is ready for your vision. Ready, set, build!

LEGO Build the Change | Playful Cities

“Brick City is not only a space for engineering and design. It’s an opportunity for children to share their ideas of a more playful future for a city. It’s a cultivation of new ideas, weaving play into the culture and infrastructure of our city. In Brick City, play is at the heart of daily life.”
