We’re thrilled to share some big news: Port Discovery is officially joining the LEGO® Playful Learning Museum Network!
As a proud member of this inspiring initiative, we’re partnering with the LEGO Foundation and the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) to bring more joyful, hands-on learning to our museum and our surrounding Baltimore community. Port Discovery is honored to be one of 21 children’s and science museums across the United States who are dedicated to embedding Learning through Play experiences for children and their families in our exhibits and programs.
Now in its fourth year, the LEGO® Playful Learning Museum Network unites science and children’s museums around the world to explore the power of play as a tool for learning, both within our walls and far beyond them. Since the network’s launch in 2021, it has reached millions of children, creating meaningful, playful learning experiences that spark creativity, curiosity, and connection.
