Port Discovery Children’s Museum is committed to ensuring every child has access to powerful, purposeful play – and as part of that commitment, we offer several programs that provide discounted access opportunities to guests and community members.
Summer First Fun Fridays
More Time = More Play!
Join us on select summer friday nights from 5pm-8pm at a discounted price!

Community Days
Enjoy play, learning, and family fun at a discount price during Port Discovery’s Community Days. October-May.
PlayMakers
Through Port Discovery’s PlayMakers program, any Maryland family that qualifies for nutritional assistance and has a valid EBT/Independence Card or WIC ID can visit Port Discovery for $5 per person, per day. Only one card can be used per transaction. Discount is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis daily.
Military Members
All active military personnel and veterans receive FREE admission to Port Discovery Children’s Museum year-round with valid military ID. If a service member is currently deployed, their spouse may receive free admission with appropriate ID. This is for the adult admission ticket only. (Limit two IDs per transaction)
*The free admission ticket does not cover children admission.

ACM (Association of Children's Museums) Reciprocal Network
Port Discovery Children’s Museum is proud to be a part of the Association of Children’s Museums Reciprocal Network, which allows for members at our museum and other participating children’s museums to get discounted general admission to around 130 children’s museums.
Families must present a valid Membership Card with ACM Reciprocal Network benefits to receive discounted admission at museums participating in the ACM Reciprocal Network.
This discount is only available in person at the admissions desk — please bring proof of your membership (such as your membership card) to redeem it. If proof of membership cannot be provided, full admission price will apply. Museums participating in the Reciprocal Network offer 50% off general admission for up to six (6) people, and the membership cardholder must be one of the six (6) people. Additional visitors in your group will be asked to pay full admission.
