Astro Architects – Homeschool Days
Join us for a day of excitement, exploration, and learning, all by the way of play! Embark on a self-guided journey throughout the three floors of fun Port Discovery has to offer and tap into special workshops offered just for our homeschoolers on these special days.

Workshop sessions at 10:30am and 1:30pm
Design and launch your own paper rockets using stomp rockets and wind tunnels, then put your engineering skills to the test by building Mars rovers and rolling them down ramps—just like real space explorers! This hands-on adventure gives homeschoolers an exciting sneak peek at our upcoming Galactic Builders exhibit, where imagination and science take flight.
*Homeschool Days and workshops are not drop-off programs. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the museum and within special workshops.
- *Tickets are $15 per person and include all day admission to explore the museum as well as one workshop.
- Members’ tickets are $7.50 per person, which includes access to one homeschool day workshop at a discounted price as part of Port Discovery’s exclusive membership benefits.
Additional discounts cannot be applied to our Homeschool special program tickets for either adults or children. Additional tickets may not be purchased with memberships or other discounts.
