A short story time that will feature museum staff reading a variety of children's books. This weekend will feature books about the experiences of Black children, families, and culture.
Experience virtual scuba diving led by the scholars and instructors from the non-profit organization, Black Girls Dive Foundation, Inc. They will run a few 20-minute sessions at a time where participants can explore STEM concepts and learn more about marine-science based careers.
Listen, sing along, and participate in play-based activities involving music. Movement, instrument playing, and social-emotional learning combine as we also explore songs from influential Black musical genres and artists.
