NEW EXHIBIT!! Thomas & Friends™: Explore the Rails
January 21 - May 7, 2017
At Port Discovery Children’s Museum January 21 through May 7, 2017

All aboard! Everyone’s favorite blue engine will roll into Port Discovery Children’s Museum this January! Thomas & Friends encourages kids to learn about science, technology, engineering and math through play – while interacting with their favorite characters!

Climb into Thomas’ cab and explore the engine’s inner workings. Flip levers and investigate other moveable parts! Work with others to get Percy moving by loading coal and filling his tank with water!

Developed by the Minnesota Children’s Museum and based on the acclaimed book and television series, the exhibition features a kid-sized, climbable Thomas the Tank Engine, an enormous hands-on Island of Sodor toy railway, and more! In the Sodor Steamworks, children dress up as train conductors while teaming up to fix an engine and to load cargo.

Admission to Thomas & Friends is included with general admission tickets to Port Discovery, which are $14.95 for adults and children 2 and up, and free for Museum members. Thomas & Friends is sponsored locally by M&T Bank. Port Discovery Children’s Museum is conveniently located in in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor in downtown Baltimore, Maryland.
