Port Discovery Children’s Museum is committed to ensuring every child has access to powerful, purposeful play – and as part of that commitment, we offer several programs that provide discounted access opportunities to guests and community members.
Community Days
Enjoy play, learning, and family fun at a discount price during Port Discovery’s Community Days. October-May.
PlayMakers
Through Port Discovery’s PlayMakers program, any Maryland family that qualifies for nutritional assistance and has a valid EBT/Independence Card or WIC ID can visit Port Discovery for $5 per person.
Educator Community
August 9, 2025 until June 30, 2026 current Maryland Educators will be offered $12.50 adult general admission to Port Discovery!*
*In-person redemption. Educators must provide proof of current employment. Failure to provide proof of current employment will result in paying the full price of admission.
*Discount is only applicable to adult ticket, not the child ticket. This discount can only be applied to General Admission rates, this excludes Playmakers tickets, Community Days, and Discovery Days.
Military Members & Families
All military personnel and veterans receive FREE admission to Port Discovery Children’s Museum year-round with valid military ID. If a service member is currently deployed, their spouse may receive free admission with appropriate ID.
